I have led, or been involved in, research contracts and consultancies for Commonwealth and state/territory government departments and agencies, as well as commercial and not-for-profit organisations. Project topics to date span the fields of: education, employment, economics, environment, media and communication, social equity and disadvantage, and sustainability in the workplace.
As a data analyst, I have worked extensively with primary data collections (surveys, questionnaires, focus groups and interviews) and secondary data collections (from international and national bodies such as the OECD, UNESCO, ABS and sector representative bodies). The statistical analyses I use cover a variety of multivariate and other techniques, although percentage tables and associated graphs generally convey the important messages from survey data for a broad audience.
I enjoy providing advice on complex issues, and am skilled in identifying the most relevant methodology that will provide comprehensive research findings to inform clients’ needs.
